By taking part in the municipal elections, you help Montrealers choose the elected officials who will represent them. It’s a unique civic experience where you help people exercise their right to vote and keep democracy alive. <\/span><\/p>\n\n\t<\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n<\/div>

Who can work for the municipal elections?<\/h3>\n

Anyone who is age 15 or older can apply for work. At the time of hiring, successful candidates will be required to provide their social insurance number.<\/span><\/p>\n

People who live outside the City of Montréal can also apply for and hold a position.<\/span><\/p>\n

When applying, you will need to provide your email address.<\/span><\/p>\n

When you apply, you will be asked to choose whether you would like a cheque mailed to you or a direct deposit into your bank account. <\/span><\/p>\n

If you choose to be paid by direct deposit, you will have to bring a cheque stub when you come by the office.
