To vote a person must meet the following conditions:
1.
Reside in the territory of the City of Montréal and have lived in Québec for at least six months
2.
Be registered on the electoral list
3.
Be at least 18 years old on November 2, 2025
4.
Be a Canadian citizen
5.
Not be under guardianship
6.
Not be subject to a legal incapacity*
OR
1.
Be the sole owner of a building located in the territory of the City of Montréal since at least September 19, 2025, and have submitted a written registration request to Élections Montréal
2.
Be the sole occupant of a business establishment located in the territory of the City of Montréal since at least September 19, 2025, and have submitted a written registration request to Élections Montréal
In the case of a building owned by undivided co-owners or a business establishment occupied by co-tenants, only the undivided co-owner or the designated co-tenant, authorized through a proxy signed by the majority of the co-owners or co-tenants, has the right to be registered on the electoral list as the owner of the building or occupant of the business establishment. This proxy must be submitted to Élections Montréal.
